Scale Degree Ear Quiz

Listen to a root tone followed by an interval tone. Then type the scale degree that matches the second tone relative to the first.

The major scale degrees are labeled 1 through 7. For example, if the second tone is eight semitones above the root, the answer is 6. Use the checkbox to include chromatic degrees like ♭2, ♯4, ♭5, and more. The minor and other scale degrees are labeled relative to the major ones.
